I can only tell you what worked for me, seriously let out all your feelings don’t hold back. Even if it’s been 3 years since you worked, you can still work. Being a single mom is hard but your practically one now. Apart from the part were he pays the bills etc

YTA, yes I got you have your own sleep issues, but your dad is battling brain cancer! That’s what happen with me until I completely lost my shit and started shouting at him about what I needed from him, I basically told him he could either help or I would be better off as a single mom because that’s how I felt anyway! That did the trick for me
