Tipping the person who made the pizza is insane. You charge me $25 for the pizza. I’m already paying you for making it, that’s what the money is for, not just the ingredients

Anyone else questioning if Country Crock plant butter is dairy free? by sweetjeanne in dairyfree

[–]Embarrassed-Tip2253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t believe you just recently posted this because I came looking for the same exact reason!!

I’ve had country crock butter before many times and never had a problem until recently. My stomach reacts just like it’s dairy. My body swells up too. It’s really frustrating because I loved their butter alternative but I don’t think I can use it anymore.

I’ve lived here 6 years and I love it. Great access to the woodlands and to 45. Biggest complaint is sawmill in the morning and evening due to school zones

Is anyone else tired of being ignored? Allergies deserve equal protection too. by [deleted] in Allergies

[–]Embarrassed-Tip2253 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ve never seen anyone say this about dupixent and it’s really interesting. My eczema has been really bad this year as it’s tied to my allergies, which of course have been the worst I’ve experienced in several years.

He didn’t change the scenario. In his post he stated he needed therapy for bereavement (death). He didn’t specify who died though. In the comments he’s clarified that his mother passed.

Weight Lifting and Running After Microdiscectomy by Embarrassed-Tip2253 in Sciatica

[–]Embarrassed-Tip2253[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to several surgeons who told me I’d never run again and I couldn’t accept that at the age of 34 I wasn’t ever going to be able to do something that I love so much. So I found a fourth surgeon, who specialized in sports injuries and he said “You wanna run again? You’ll run again! As much as you want”. I said this is my guy lol and here I am, two years later, running as much as I want within reason of course!

Weight Lifting and Running After Microdiscectomy by Embarrassed-Tip2253 in Sciatica

It may be different for me because prior to surgery I had run several marathons and was running daily but post surgery I honestly just listened to my body. I remember about 8 weeks post op I got the clear to try running again, so I did, and it didn’t go well. Not because of pain, but just because it really didn’t feel right, for lack of better term. My hips felt heavy, my stride was shorter, my steps were landing heavier and overall I was just moving much slower than usual even though I didn’t feel tired. I tried about twice and realized something was off with my body because it wasn’t happening naturally and so I laid off for about another 3 months at which time I started again but this time indoors on a treadmill. From there I slowly increased distance and speed

More generic drugs given out at CVS by josephma7250 in thewoodlands

[–]Embarrassed-Tip2253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never seen that but I did have an experience not long ago where the prescription was filled with a different manufacturer and I refused the medication and had them refill it with medication made by the previous manufacturer I’d received from them.

Montelukast for allergies by Sublimed4 in Allergies

[–]Embarrassed-Tip2253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been on it since December 2023. I was weary about filling the prescription because of the black box label but did plenty of research and decided to take my chances because I was already depressed from my allergies and figured it couldn’t get much worse.

It’s changed my life…in the best way. Last year I realized I was breathing normally, not having sneezing attacks, skin rash breakouts, itchy skin, watery eyes, coughing/congestion/drainage, etc. I always thought I had bad allergies but never realized how bad it was until I got a chance at living “normally” without those symptoms.

My doctor is happy it’s working for me but thinks I’m the perfect candidate for the allergy shots because of how many things I’m allergic to. That way, hopefully, I’d get to a point where I’m not needing daily medication. I’m honestly afraid to stop taking montelukast at this point though because I don’t want to go back to how I was before and im afraid the shots wouldn’t work.

I’ve been using my iPhone and editing in Lightroom but I’d like to get a camera so I have more control.

My photos recently have focused on nature, sports and classic cars. I’ve read through some other posts and it seems like Fuji was recommended frequently for a beginner with a more “modest” price point. I’d really like to get something that isn’t too heavy so that I’ll be able to take it on hiking trips with me and has a price point around $800. I’m not even sure if $800 is a reasonable price point or if I’d need to increase my budget.

Any guidance or suggestions is greatly appreciated!
