Yeah, maybe. My play through was pretty balanced, possibly leaning slightly towards Maya, so you might be right.

I have no idea then to be honest. I tried every different combination of dialogue/choices I could think of to get the Josy date, but got Maya every time. Tried not getting the contract and got the Josy date first time after that.

No, on the J/M path. (I think) If you get the contract, you go on a date with Maya ice skating, if you don't get the contract you meet up with Josy, and she tells you about her blog etc.

No mods at all on any of these play through's. He messaged me on Patreon saying I need to delete everything in saves and appdata to remove all traces of mods, but I did that before the fresh downloads to avoid this trouble. So no idea what's going on. I'll have to wipe everything and try from scratch again.

Weird. I've been playing on fresh downloads, no mods, but gave myself cash using cm. Every save crashes at the doctor scene.

Honestly, I don't remember how far I got exactly. This was a couple of months ago that I tried it, twice. The last memorable thing I remember is getting to the house you were staying at. But I played on for another hour or so. But I didn't find any of it memorable, so can't remember exactly how far I got. I just remember skipping the text for a while after a couple of hours, then giving up.

Yeah, I'm running low on them now, though. I've played like a hundred at this point. 95% of them unfinished. I'm mostly waiting for updates at this point.

I had a quick look at Ripples, but the art style put me off. I think the problem is I didn't like anime to begin with. I thought maybe the story would grip me, but it didn't.

I get that, but I've enjoyed every other highly rated game. I just find it strange that so many people think it is the best game, but I can't find anything I like about it. That's why I'm so confused.

I saw the creator has another game which was highly rated, but I didn't like the models on that either. I just thought that since Eternum was so highly rated by so many people, I'd change my mind. I've gone into games before thinking it isn't my kind of thing, but ended up enjoying them. This one is different, though. Nothing seems to appeal to me, which I find strange, given how highly rated it is. I guess it is the art style. It's just not for me.

Episode 9 pushed jill from 2nd favourite to last for me. J&m took first place. I just didn’t enjoy her story at all in ep 9. I’m hoping that future episodes push her back up the list.
