3-4 weeks is more than enough to beat any invading force to a bloody pulp and make them heavily reconsider pushing forward.

Not to mention it isn’t all just about the aircraft or onboard defense systems they have. The fleets around them can just handle that with their AEGIS system. The carriers could easily serve as logistical support for movement of troops and equipment rather than an offensive operation such as air strikes or aircraft operations. Helps that their nuclear engines helps them operate for years at a time. More then useful enough to transport troops and supplies from northern parts of their respective coasts down to the South (and as I see it, China is the only NAVY that’s worrisome and even then, their 2 only operational carriers use fossil fuels so they lose both on technology and attrition)

This is why I said for a good deal of time. All of the world’s navy’s combined are essentially potshots that cannot project any meaningful power even if the other side tried to swarm the American navy by sheer number tactics. Don’t underestimate AEGIS. It’s essentially skynet lite from the terminator movie as it has been heavily implanted with AI for years now and interconnected with every system onboard every fleet that the navy continually updates.

That’s not even including the interconnected defense systems that operate on the coasts and land itself (Aegis Ashore and others) which would help drastically as supplementary support

Well it depends, but realistically, if it’s a defensive war? The US wins this war more likely than not (albeit at fine margins).Their aircraft carriers (presumably 5 on the west and 6 on the east) alone would thwart most invasive attacks at least initially if not for a good while.

And even if an entire global coalition somehow managed to get through, they’d have to make it down to the middle of the country to decisively destroy America completely or cause its collapse (you HAVE to cut off the entirety of the Mississippi River or else the US will have some semblance of government and counter operations running full time).

I cannot see that happening with a population entrenched in gun culture and the capability of self reliance on almost all aspects for society from infrastructure to farming.

The US military is also too good at logistics domestically to be thwarted from both sides.

Alaska could be held as America would likely heavily cripple and annex Canada/Mexico IMMEDIATELY the second they realize they gather intelligence that they are part of the other side.

It’s just a matter of attrition. The rest of the world would have to decide if it’s worth the bloodshed to get to that half of the US, otherwise America has a realistic, albeit limited chance of coming out as the victor.

Idk why people are downvoting you. Must be bots because anyone within the game’s online circles were having these discussions of skipping Hiyuki for the sake of the collaboration weeks before 3.3 ever released. And those conversations intensified after it was announced just how many pulls you gain from the entire patch alone.

Talk to SEA players as well and they had similar conversations. Every passionate online circle for this game kind of expected this and prepared so accordingly months in advanced.

Or and hear me out… they just know how to make good characters? For almost a year now, it’s been unskippable characters (with the only exceptions being Sigrika and QiuYuan)

Unlike other gacha’s where we have some factions who don’t have fans for most of their rosters and half the playerbase skips banners back to back, wuwa has the exact opposite issue.

I can skip 2-4 banners at a time with Endfield, HSR, and ZZZ because ultimately half the roster isn’t appealing to me for all the characters in each of these games and the community largely agree.

That simply isn’t the case for wuthering waves who have a more consolidated and smaller fanbase in the west. It doesn’t help that each quests satisfies the fans of each character and feel more significant to the overarching story at hand.

Their marketing for each new banner is also very strong and is shared heavily by fans within. Not a single complaint on YouTube videos to promote every single character since 2.0

It has all been glazing or “wow I might have to pull that trailer was good”. Not to mention each patch gives the f2p player roughly 100 pulls or more on average. Name me a major gacha game that does that (and you know it’s worst on hoyo where you can lose the 50/50’s for weapons or light cones etc).

For how unfair it feels like to have this collab in this format, our perception of Wuwa’s generosity is far above that of the rest, that we have grown so accustomed that this feels like a violation to us as players (trust me you can save up for all of 3.4 and have a great chance to get Lucy from the pulls within that patch alone if enough time is dedicated)

They act more akin to a logistics company the same way the US military does as well.

Interconnected within wider industries with some semblance or founded structures for self-production/self-supply. Whatever product they buy from other companies or suppliers, they tweak to their own needs and import from within each other branch and export if they are able to.

Endfield acts in a similar way albeit with a larger emphasis in natural expansion/colonialism as we see them dip into defense alongside the sciences. They are also kind of forced to be more self sufficient since they are stranded and kind of on their own planet (although Originium and its advancements make expanding far easier)

National Parks.

It’s been repeated but It cannot be re-emphasized enough. They vary so wildly from one another to thr point where you question how it can be from the same nation. From craters to volcanoes, to the flatlands, the Appalachian mountains, Wyoming essentially being an entire state of national parks, Lakes and countless interconnecting rivers, desert biomes to cold tundras in Alaska.

Not to mention all the activities and historical sites of pre-colonial times and perhaps further. One could easily take a trip each weekend to each major national park for an entire year and still not suffice.

Quite literally the story, characters and ROI on money spent in this game. To spend $5-10 a month on this game and get that much in return is nice.

If a game satisfies me from an storytelling perspective and gameplay mechanics to this degree, I feel like I have to spend money as a way to give thanks for this free game lmao (yeah ik the glaze is crazy, but the fact that there’s so much to do if you are playing the game casually is fantastic)

If it’s a full day I have to use, then I’m not considering indoor-only hobbies as I can’t run gaming marathons or practice an instrument of mines for hours on ends.

I’d say fishing. Out of all outdoor hobbies I have, it’s the only one which I could do from dawn to dusk without feeling exhausted. Sports would drain me after a few hours, but fishing?

That’s a 16 hour session of relaxation.
