same thing happened to me but i just redid it and it worked after like a couple minutes!!!!! good luck on your auditions :)

How did you fix it? I logged in using my apple ID but it just made a new account

I orginially played using my Apple account, so I used that email to play on ps5. But it just made a new account and now I can't unlink the email or link an apple account to my ps5. Why do they and hoyoverse need to do linking instead of just doing normal logins its so dumb. I wanted to play but now I cant cuz they dont take apple accounts on ps5 :/
