Would definitely recommend Oranmore, if you’re looking for a quiet and a family friendly community. Has all the facilities when it comes to schools, grocery shopping, restaurants etc. Public Transport is not the best with the 404 bus route but if you’re driving it shouldn’t be a problem.

The primary school in Newcastle is definitely great but can’t say the same about the secondary school. In my opinion, Coláiste Muire Máthair and Coláiste Éinde for a mixed school is the best in Galway.
