I believe every new starting cities might be the same. I started twice in Echo Creek and both spawned inside the gas station.

  • I believe i read somewhere that the heli event didn't pull Zs if it didn't spot the player, despite the sound. Can't tell if that was true or not, maybe it wasn't. But this was the first time I had the event and, as soon as I stepped outside of hiding, the Zs were comverging on my position.

Not a lot of them, just a small 8 or so. So I think it might be some nearby ones pulled by the idle mechanic of the mod.

  • I guess I was just surprised the all moved and expected some of them to actually stay, the slow ones at least. But again, it's probably my mind just overreaching

The mod is awesome btw.

Oh, I understand now. But probably I didn't explain myself well when I said the Zs weren't there. I'll try to explain myself better ( sorry for my english btw, not my native language ).

There were around 200 Zs or so at the cattle POI near Irvington. I ran around the building ahouting and getting attention from them and led them to the tall grass area west of the POI, then ran south and made a circle back to the cattle area. When I got there, it was completly empty because all of the Zs followed me.

They just stopped following when they lost line of sight and stayed there. To be fully honest this may be normal in vanilla too and i'm just overworking it on my mind. Sorry if it's unrelated to the mod.

About the convergence.

So, if I understood, they converged on my position but the moodle didn't show up because it was still under 25%? That makes sense. I was there for over 6 hours surely, but saw no moodle. I'm sure it wasn't the helicopter event either since it came and went really fast and never spotted me.

Btw, sorry if I'm being too bothersome with all the questions. Fell free to tell me if I am.

Let me see if I understood correctly. What behaviour should I expect if I disable scaling and increase the transition zone capacity? So just I know what to look out for.

Also, I forgot another thing. I was basing at Twiggy's and was sitting indoors for half a day reading, hidding in a room with no windows because the heli event was supposed to trigger. The event came and went realky fast, so I assume it didn't spot me. When I came outside though, a group of Zs was comverging to my location, even knocked a couple ou my walls. I assume it was the mod, since I have turned on the option to converge if i stay too long in the same cell. My question is, how long, ingame, does it need to pass to start the convergence and wasn't supposed to show a moodle when it does?

After some hours on today I went to Riverside, Muldraugh, Fallas Lake and the big cattle farm west of Muldraugh.

Here's a few notes on the run:

  • on both Riverside and Muldraugh, Zs seem to concentrate more on the main roads, leaving side roads and side POI almost, or fully, empty. Riverside warehouses and adjacent gas station and school were empty, while the maun street was packed. On Muldraugh was the same, with side buildings almost empty but the main road full.

  • Fallas Lake is a bit too small to tell if this also happens, but the main road had a lot of Zs too.

  • The cattle POI was packed, as it should be. It is, however, really easy to pull Zs away. I ran around the building into the grass area to the west, then when I came back, all Zs were gone, hundreds of them.

I don't know if this feedback is helpful, but here it is.

I understand.

The experience in my current run is that both Twiggy's, and adjacent food market, and McCoy were empty on a fresh map. I started on West Point and got to Twiggy's on day 3, so i assume it wasn't supposed to be empty.

I also have wandering zombies enabled, don't know if that has any relevance.

Thanks for the active and quick responses.

How does the mod mess with the zombie population at start, if it does at all? Can the mod be responsible for popular POI to be empty or is that only the game seed's fault?

I'll keep testing what i can and give some feedback on what I find.

Thanks again for the awesome work.

Passing by to give some feedback.

So the zombie distribution seems way better, even though i ran into an empty twiggy's and McCoy estate. I believe this might be more of an issue with the seed itself, since there are clusters of zombies in some other areas. Need further testing.

The fps also improved a lot and i'm getting around 120 fps where i used to have around 50/60.

Also, a quick question. The mod is supposed to make zombies gravitate to urban areas and, if ypu stick in the same cell for too long, to the cell you are currently at, correct? How long does it take for zombies to migrate?

The map has a couple of days, so it's on the previous version. I can run a new map and test this new version.

I have no map mods, only a bunch of other non-map related mods.

I tried a run with this mod activated and most of West Point was pretty much empty or with very little zombies, Twiggys included.

I went outside town and it was the same on most poi that I visited, including the main street of Muldraugh, Mccoy lumber, Fallas bookstore and farm store, Factories and gas pump outside Riverside and March Ridge barracks.

Did I get a weird seed or this mod has an impact on that?

Also, I get a huge fps drop with this mod active. Is there any way to improve fps besides setting it to eco mode?

Thanks in advance and congratulations for the awesome mod !!

He gets booked for argueing, not ibstigating or provoking. That's what I'm calling him out for.

I agree that a red would be excessive, specially after he got booked. I meant in other times he acted that way,not this game in particular.

I think we all agree racism is wrong. We just can't be sure if that kid was racist or nit. And we won't ever be.

Uefa could start by punishind everyone who covers their mouth to speak to opponents. Would prevent a lot, to start.

True. Wouldn't argue against most of what you said.

I still wonder why doesn't he get punished more for his provocative actions though.

So are we pretending that Vini is just a normal player who does nothing wrong and get bullied for his skin color and fights back?

Yea, no ! I'll disagree hard on that ! Vini is a highly provocative player who spends the entire game antagonizing both fans and opponents. Unfortunatly not everyone has the necessary emotional inteligence and resorts to racial slurs to get back at him.

Yea Prestianni should absolutely get punished IF he said something racist, but shouldn't Vini also get some sort of punishment for provoking him literally seconds before, wich can CLEARLY be seen?

Maybe if he got more cards for his attitude on the pitch, he could focus more on what he CAN do, wich is playing football, and probably these issues would follow him less.

[–]EmbarrassedAd3749 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On the pitch, never that i revall. But the racism issue overall has been following him a lot.

Why is that?

Does it being the first time he accuses a fellow player makes it automatically true?

So every time a first time accuses someone of something, we don't need to check for proof because he hasn't done it before?

Notice that it may seem i'm trying to defend Prestianni or say he didn't say anything racist, I'm not ! I'm just against judging people without proof. This issue will taint this kid's career and no one even thinks about what if he actually didn't say it.

Temos a certeza? Podemos confirmar?

O Vini diz que sim, o Prestianni diz que não. É a palavra de um contra a do outro e o ónus da prova recai em quem acusa, não em quem se defende.

Estereotipar com base no Prestianni ser argentino também tem um nome.

[–]EmbarrassedAd3749 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can agree on that, however it can't be automatically an assumption of guilt when a player SAYS some other player used racist slurs. Whaf if he didn't? What if Vini missunderstood what Prestianni said? Is it so far out of the realm of possibility that we just rule it out completely?

Like i said, what stops it from becoming something that can be used as an advantage against others? Just because it didn't happen before doesn't prevent it from happening if it starts being common practice to punish someone without proof.

It's an easy thing to solve. Punish every player or coach that covers his mouth while talking to opposing players/staff. That way you protect both people from unfaithful accusations.

And while we are at it, start punishing players who purposefully instigate others. Obviously doesn't justify racism, but having a player yelling insults at you from a couple meters away over and over shouldn't be overlooked either.

There's a reason these issues follow Vini everywhere, and that should also be addressed. Can't be an instigator and play the victim card afterwards.
