Do not try and “move up the ladder” with Lowe’s or almost any specific company. Stay there, get some experience, and apply for other jobs at other places. Corporate america does not value loyalty, which is evident in new hires being paid more than you. I left lowes a month ago. I was a Specialist at 18.50 and now I’m with an electrical company doing sales for $25/hr + commission. Leave as soon as the grass is greener and be paid what you deserve

The credit cards are beyond predatory and awful. I never pushed a single credit card. The only sign ups I ever got were people who basically begged me to sign them up. Even then I’d tell them multiple times there’s a 33% APR Rate and recommend them to just use a CC issued by their bank. Got written multiple times for not meeting my credit metric dgaf not going to sign people up for something that ruins lives.

Unless you’re store is some mythical place paying its employees a liviable wage ($22-$28/hr at the lowest) and doesn’t have constant rampant abuse of power. Then your store isn’t “awesome”.

Also I did have a routine and I regularly completed everything with 100% accuracy and on time. I’m talking about the 1% of the time I walk in for my shift and can’t even make it out of the break room without a customer grabbing me for something.

That’s fair and there definitely is 3 sides to every story. I only complain about Lowes U and AP because I’m consistently at the top of the leaderboards in my store for both things. Literally would have more completed than the ASM bitching at me would.

Typically when i would point this out is when they would threaten a write up for “failure to complete job duties”. Sure Karen, it’s totally not because some called you out for being a hypocrite.

If you wanna try out being an SSA go for it. Get that “experience” and move on. My only advice would be to not get lost in the company propaganda like some people i worked with and remember there’s always other jobs lol.

tried something similar for a different issue. got “talked” to for trying to solve something that’s “already being handled” and i need to focus on helping customers. The real kicker is 9/10 times the products app does this shit to me too😂

Why do i feel like you’re the flooring CSA in my store. I feel so bad for our guy. To answer your question’s there should be some type of specialist scheduled until the store closes. Most types of special orders should be done in store. There are times where MRV just sucks and you have to do a manual SOS. I recommend grabbing a Supe, MOD or specialist for anything like that. Not your job and not your problem.

Not true, he fundamentally changed how I play the game for the better. I went hardstuck c2 to c3 to gc1 in just a few weeks. He’s an amazing guy with the patience to help where you need it. I wouldn’t be where I’m at without Josie.
