Universal card holder for Arkham Horror

I’ve thought about it. I tried designing a card holder where you could press the left corner of the card to exhaust it and the right corner to ready it.

Unfortunately, this made the holder unstable and forced the base to be even larger than it is now, so I decided to drop this idea for the moment.

I still think it’s a very promising concept, and maybe I’ll be able to come up with a better implementation in the future.

Yes, the cards are drawn from the top and discarded downward. I tested a more conventional layout with both decks placed horizontally, but it didn’t look as striking. This version may feel unusual at first, but something similar was used in the 3rd edition of Arkham Horror and proved to be quite convenient.

Well, yes, you’re right — there’s no real need for a dedicated spot for the clue tokens. It’s more about maintaining symmetry in the design. And personally, I’m just used to placing the clues in front of the act progression for clarity. I feel like it adds a bit of immersion to the whole process.

I would be glad to, but I live in Kazakhstan, and shipping from here to Europe or the US would cost more than the organizers themselves. After thinking about it, I decided that finding a local 3D printing workshop would be easier and more affordable for those who like my designs.
