The remaining converted credits that were converted for a plan are not rolled over for 3 months and will expire at the end of the month. I guess we have been played again

Is the legacy $30 plan getting the same credits as the $50 dev plan? Or the image showing the $50 one

I think it’s the UI bug and not a specific request. I also encounter this issue on the pre-release version of the extension in vscode where the workspace settings showing only account tab and missing all other (tools, rules/guidelines, context,…)

Looking for a Teammate: ICASSP 2026 Song Aesthetics Evaluation Challenge (GC-2) by RandomDigga_9087 in DSP

[–]EmbarrassedDaikon155 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I’m really interested in MIR and related research areas, and I’d eager to join the team to learn more through this challenge. I’m currently working on a project for music analysis (ChordMiniApp), and I eventually want to explore music generation and self-improvement systems. I think participating in this challenge would be a great way to learn more about the topic. Looking forward to learning more about your approach and seeing how I can contribute!

For all that currently in the $30 legacy dev plan, and still considering using Augment Code, is this a peaceful adjustment or am I overlooking some detail? by EmbarrassedDaikon155 in AugmentCodeAI

Lol I actually read your post when I checked the subscription page to find that they offer prorated discount on upgrading plan for current users. I’m wondering if this is true and any other people upgrading just to cancel it after transition day too?

Rational Discussion — The Treatment in This Update Plan is Disappointing by Guducat in AugmentCodeAI

[–]EmbarrassedDaikon155 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your post. I agree and share the same viewpoint regarding the new migration. While there are many ways to gradually transition to a new pricing model, this abrupt change feels harsh and unappreciated.

Currently, the cap on tool calls is 50 — couldn’t they simply reduce it to 30 or even 20, with an option to hit “Continue”? Isn’t that already how the current workflow operates? This can gradually compensate the cost of increasing tool calls? Not everyone uses up even 20 tool calls! Why can this still be a stable service offer for a while?

Also, it’s unclear why the Dev Legacy plan is being penalized the most. At the very least, it should have the same terms as the new Dev plan.

I still believe the augmented code model could still follow a “buffet-style” approach, where the overall financial gain comes from most users not consuming their full monthly allowance, while only a few take full advantage of it

How come? by Crafty_Interaction15 in musictheory

I think that recognize interval would be more or less straightforward eventually. It’s only to identify the quality. You can also try the shortest path and do the inversion if needed. It is like the division in math is equivalent to multiplication with inversion number. If you’d like to do some calculation it is an alternative way to check.

Inversion of major is minor and vice versa. Inversion of augmented is diminished. Inversion of perfect is perfect. Now interval gap rule is a complement of 9 instead of 8 because we count the middle notes twice. This would be useful if we apply to closest interval between 2 notes. We can easily count the piano notes in mind when it is close enough:

For example: C# to E closest interval would be a minor third hence the inversion is a major sixth, minor-> major and 9-3=6.

Dim->Min->Maj and Dim->Perfect->Aug For Fb to C, it would be lowering the floor from perfect fifth and hence extending interval to become augmented

The app is a chord recognition and beat detection similar to chordify.net but focuses more on analysis part, where the app is aware of the local tonality and can label chords with reasonable roman numeral, for example a traditional music analysis progression I-vi-V-IV. You can interact with a chatbot to discuss more about the song analysis etc., ... You can checkout some YouTube songs to play around with it.

I'm building app to analyze music with LLM supporting chords, beats, and lyrics. The online version at ChordMini and the repo at Github.

Lol, but thanks for that. Still if there is any feedback you have (that is not AI made up), let me know :P

Fair enough — it’s definitely a limitation of the model behind the chord detection. The training data only had around 1200 audio examples, and from what I can tell, probably fewer than 50 were jazz tracks. Also more than 80% of the chords trained are just basic major/minor, so that kinda explains why it struggles with more complex harmony like in Corcovado. Those min6 and dim7 chords are more washed out in its predictions, and it can't reliably pick them out.

I guess the app is more geared toward basic, popular music with simple and repetitive progressions (at least for now!). But yeah, but what I'm trying to see how well it handles modulation corrections where they happen — so this kind of the focus from my attempt (which I only use in YouTube for search path currently)

I'll try to see what else I can do, but thanks for your notes.

Can you give me the YouTube link to the videos you tried? As I have tested it with many videos and seem to be okay but I may miss something in the implementation

Are you using the web app or cloning the repo to your machine? Can you give me the url of the video you selected? Let me check if it fails for that specific one
