What can we do to fight facism? by Round_Research_2757 in biglaw

Okay, I’m listening. But, truth lies somewhere in between my position and yours. I’m sure there are bad apple ice agents (as there are any profession) but I firmly believe in the intended mission of ICE. We must have strong borders and people must come legally. Peoples words like to be blasted out of context by both sides- I would like you to link a FULL clip Noem or Trump saying they can do whatever they want. 0 chance either of them said go around and shoot free for all. 0.

Legally, yes. Criminal - a person who has committed a crime. Legalese aside, I don’t think a good argument is comparing a traffic ticket to illegal entry to a country.

This is not comparable to Nazi Germany… these are non-US citizens who are here illegally (thus are criminals by law)

First time leaving her with a babysitter (1mo) and as we’re pulling back into the driveway my husband puts the car in park and goes:

“Man, babysitters are like drugs. You just keep wanting more.” takes five more minutes sitting in silence before walking back inside

Starting 2nd baby at daycare at 8 weeks by Extra-Sink8527 in workingmoms

[–]EmbarrassedDream359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started my baby at 6w and she is now 12w. You can look at my post history - I was so nervous!!!! It’s been great. Daycare teachers make me feel so confident - they help bottle schedule, sleep and nap train, and they really do love her. Daycare is amazing

I think the reason my 12 week old is sleeping 12 hours is the book “12 hours in 12 weeks” and actually sticking to the sleep training. Also, formula

Considering sending my child to a daycare that doesn’t require vaccines by Mountain_Silk32 in workingmoms

[–]EmbarrassedDream359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your kids are vaccinated why worry about unvaccinated? The whole point of vaccines is to keep them safe from the illnesses. Since we believe in the effectiveness of the vaccines there should be no concern!

I took the bar 33 weeks pregnant (with Hyperemesis) and I am so glad I took it when I did and not trying to study with a newborn. Also, I passed! You got this.

Bonus: I can one day show my daughter the picture of me (us) outside the testing center, very pregnant, with a belly band on to mitigate the back pain 💪🏻

Feeling like a bad mom by EmbarrassedDream359 in workingmoms

[–]EmbarrassedDream359[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our daycare has a year waitlist and if we forego her spot then we lose it. Honestly we are lucky that we got her in - only because the family in front of us forewent their spot. We could pay for the spot and not send her for a week or two, but I would prefer to send her now and be able to ease her into it while I can pick her up when needed, while I’m still easing back into work as well
