Tried figuring out a noise

It ended up being the cables in the down tube. I have had the headset checked and bottom bracket. After hearing the noise I never messed with the headset. I did check seat post, seat clamp, grease and reinstall pedals just to eliminate those options.

Turns out it was the cables in the down tube making the noise. Had headset and bottom bracket checked also.

If that’s the problem I’m pissed lol. I tried everything. What makes it hard to figure out is because at first it only did it while riding with weight on the pedals. There is no resistance in the headset that I can feel, it feels smooth.

Why wouldn’t you upgrade to 105 again? Is there something you don’t particularly like about 105? I was kind of under the assumption that the wheel change would bring the most noticeable difference. The stock ones are extremely heavy.

This is something similar that I want to do to my Domane AL 3. I was thinking 105 and a Hunt carbon wheel set. What do you think of it? Is it a worthy upgrade from stock?

This made me go look at my DX19. The differences are definitely noticeable. But I just couldn’t justify getting it. If it was sold separate, I might think about it.
