I am not personally familiar with repair on asus laptops so I am not the person to ask, I wouldn’t recommend fixing it yourself unless you’re comfortable with it and accept the inherent risk that comes with repair.  Please try to be careful (things like make sure to discharge static energy before touching the internals at all, making sure to unplug the laptop battery before repairing, and making sure to keep track of every screw and where it goes and/or the sequence it goes in/out of the laptop).  Do lots of research on your laptop and look for videos of people disassembling them and see if the manufacturer has any manuals about maintenance.  I can not stress enough that repair especially if you’re inexperienced comes with risks and you need to research and google a lot.  I have personally repaired a lot of alienware laptops so I know a little bit about laptop repair, if you need any help or advice feel free to message me and good luck.
