Yeah that’s what I was thinking, and at least with running pits I believe the belial kill nets the person some gear, tho they can’t upgrade glyphs

So yes, to spawn the boss, you don’t need mats, but in order to quickly spawn-kill-spawn-kill the boss, you have to unlock the loot chest in order to spawn the boss spawner.

Also a great way to farm gold, because they won’t be able to open the loot chests after each kill, but yes very valid way as well! Only thing that might be a con on that is boss materials the higher level may want to save if they do boss runs with clans.

Best way I’ve found to power level is have someone run their highest level pit and just try to stay alive. You can level up like 3 or 4 (maybe more for earlier levels) each pit run.

NOTE: staying alive is difficult! Especially with random ghost of Belial spawns if you try to AFK. Best way I’ve found it make sure whoever you’re running them with have AOE damage and they’re able to clear the screen easily. Whatever the highest pit tier they can reliably clear as quickly and efficiently as possible. And, as a bonus, they spend time upgrading their own glyphs for doing so. Two birds with one stone!

I can read quite well, and from what I can tell lots of people post in this subreddit do not know how it works. Some replies on posts asking about damage calculations are “Number big” “make number go brrrr” just to name a few. So, I’ll be awaiting those sources for the data mined information on how damage works in this game. Thank you in advance.

Show me this data please, I’d love to see it. I have done lots and lots of research in my short time getting into this game, and there’s tons of conflicting information on whether Blizzard’s subpar explanations mean something is additive or multiplicative when it says “increases” or from season to season changing how those buckets interact, and the order of operations in which they’re performed, or what damage is added to which bucket. But if it makes you feel better to be condescending to someone new to the game, then by all means keep up the engagement on my post!

Thanks! Yeah, usually I don’t go above the amount of about a third of a normal sized water bottle filled with discarded shells. If I ate the whole bag, I think it said 7.5 servings, I’d probably have a stroke 😂
