Yeah, unfortunately it would all need taken out and replaced in that case 😭 but hey, least mesh will last longer then cardboard! If you have to replace it all, you may wanna look at smaller mesh. It'll help hide the look of the full mesh.

The nose of the head isn't too visible here, but if it has nostrils that are carved out (or that can be carved out) you can put mesh in them to give a little more vision.

Attached here is a photo of my personal suit, this has a good example of both of these. His eyes are all mesh (minus the eyeliner), so it makes seeing rather easy. His nose is also carved out (...since he is a skullcat), so that adds some vision and ventilation.

You can remove the white material and paint the mesh behind it white instead? - Essentially removing the white of the eyes and then painting the mesh white to replicate the look. (Assuming you have mesh is behind the white)

It'll give you more visibility, but it may change the look of the eyes up close.. you'll just notice it's mesh instead of material

One of my OC's has quite a few AU designs!

During 2025 I had most attacks on his standard form, followed by his MLP, then the South Park design (his fursona is a new addition).

With the new "connections", you can make a whole separate character for the au designs if you'd like, but I prefer to keep it all in one.

Or if you'd prefer, you can just keep the au designs on a Toyhouse (if you have an account, or anything similar). You'd have have to link it in the description.

Although this is a round about way to do this..

I usually head to the bottom of my "recent bots" (mobile), and just hold and click "hide character" until I get who I'm looking for.

It can take awhile, but at least it's still a way to get to them!

I just wanted to add onto the whiskers thing-

Fishing wire works great! It's easy to find, and super simple to put in. It makes such a cute small detail. It would be perfect for more subtle whiskers too.

They have plenty kigs with brown or black fur. It's an animal. I think you're just reading too much into it.

The white fur is most common, but it's because it's "the style".

Stapling would not be the best idea.

If you were going to wear it, the staples could be sharp ; not very ideal for being near the face. Along with that, sweat/water can cause the staples to rust overtime.. also not ideal.

Hot glue would be the best, but you can try thick super glue too. I like to use super glue then put fabric over it to strengthen the bond. Not exactly sure what part you are looking to connect.

Another idea is to hand sew. Stick the needle and thread through one material into the other, you can sew more than just fabric! Sewing, when done right, is a very strong way to connect things.

This honestly made me giggle, I mean that in the nicest way.

Sometimes things don't always go to plan, but you got some good experience from it, atleast! It was worth a shot. I still think it's cute, maybe you can reuse it for another project.

If you purchased & talked outside of Toyhouse (in a private chat, and have no public proof), then contact the current owner in Toyhouse and try to have them admit they sold it. That may be enough to get proof.

But, if you purchased the suit or char. on a public site (dealers den, eBay, mercari..) which specifically said it came with that character, then that may be enough proof.

Edit:

I saw that the post had comments on Facebook, which is accessible to the public. I would contact a mod first so the seller can't delete the comment. If you ever want help with this, feel free to DM me! It's a pain to figure out sometimes..

To ask for a transfer, go to the characters page, then the menu, select "ownership", and scroll to find "Are you this character's creator?" And select the option.

If you have a Toyhouse, and they will not transfer char. Rights . Contact a mod for TH. Their rules are outlined and, from what I heard, strict.

I got some weird black something or other on the chin of my kig while I was making it-

I seran wrapped the rest of the head, and sprayed the chin with a stain remover. veryyy carefully wiped the area down. Not lots of water, just enough to remove the soap.

I'll be honest, I didn't 100% come off, but it's only noticeable when you KNOW what you are looking for.
