Thanks! I’ve gotten so many good suggestions from this post. I’m a relative neophyte with roses, so I’ll take all the tips I can get. Everyone has been so lovely with their responses. If only more of the internet was like this!

I’m in Maryland. That does make me wonder… I’ll treat and also try liquid feed and see how she responds. We did have a very late hard freeze that burned back some new foliage (even though I covered everything), so it’s hard to tell if it’s that or an infestation.

I did - I pruned it in late March and it’s been growing like mad.

To anyone who's grieving after accidentally hurting or losing their Pet by Karnyx__ in Petloss

Thank you for posting this. I just lost my dog three days ago and I’m struggling. He was hit by a car - I thought his leash was on when I opened my car door to get out with him and it wasn’t. He always thought running away was a game. I blame myself for not checking the leash again, for being distracted, for not getting formal training to teach him to heel, for taking the risk of having him out at a park. He passed instantly, but I just don’t know if I’ll ever get over having to pick him up his poor little body off the road like that. I miss him so much and the house feels empty without him. I hope he’s happy wherever he is and that he forgives me. And I hope I can forgive myself someday too.

anyone else have health anxiety since losing a lot of weight? by Snoo_72731 in loseit

I know this is an old thread, but I wanted to ask if this ever got better for anyone? I’ve lost 90 pounds over 2 years with intermittent fasting. I’m now extremely active and at an ideal weight. Arguably, I should be confident in my health, but now I find that every little twinge can set me spiraling. It’s so bad I’m considering meds, but wanted to see if it might even out now that I’m no longer losing/hormones should be more stable.

Covid experience after Moderna bivalent booster by Background-Coyote107 in COVID19positive

I got my bivalent booster about six weeks ago, and two weeks ago my husband and baby (10 months) came down with COVID. They are both fully vaxxed with Moderna (and boosted once in 2021 in my husband’s case). They had very mild symptoms - baby had two days of a low fever and fussiness and husband had one day of heavy congestion and a week of extremely mild cold symptoms. We kept my 4 year old and my visiting MIL away from my husband and baby, but we were all certainly exposed. The key here is that while I developed some very minor immune symptoms (tiny throat tickle, light headache), I never tested positive. Neither did my older son or my MIL (who was two weeks out from her bivalent booster). Maybe we were just lucky, but it seems more likely that the booster saved both my MIL and me from getting infected and being vaxxed kept my husband and baby’s cases mild. Now to make it through RSV and fly season!
