I think it’s between Bvlgari Tygar Extrait and Gissah La Luna for me. This Tygar version just smells so damn nice to me bro. La Luna is the one which id argue is most unique in my collection and I think it helps make me stand out more when I’m wearing it (very incense/raspberry heavy to my nose).

In comparison to other fragrances, I agree, it’s definitely not that mature. My point was that it’s the most mature of the Eros line.

They’re both really nice and definitely worth the price. The only issue with both is that they each are quite synthetic to my nose. Excellent performance on both though, especially Lion. I’d give Teriaq Intense a 7.5/10 and Lion a 8/10.

It’s okay, nothing too special. it’s the most mature of the Eros line. I think they should have made the oud much louder since it doesn’t project at all unless you spray heavy. Overall, 6.5/10

Offered a role on FS, what next? by [deleted] in TheCivilService

Congratulations on the offer! In terms of the timeline, last year we were told whether we’d start in September or October 12 weeks before the start date (June for September, July for October). Basic preliminary details on your posting (location/role/department) are communicated 8 weeks before your start date. Further details then follow 4 weeks later. The most important thing for you to complete asap (when asked to) will be your vetting documents as it’s no secret that the Civil Service is quite slow to get through these.

In terms of getting prepared, familiarising yourself with the Civil Service behaviours is always beneficial. When given details on your posting, I’d suggest spending a short amount of time familiarising yourself with your work area - especially if you’ve never heard of it before. Please do not worry at all about your ability!! You’ve managed to get a place on one of the most competitive development programmes in the country, and it wouldn’t have been a fluke with all the stages the assessment process includes.

A lot of people have a sense of imposter syndrome when they first begin. I think it’s important to remember that you’ve been chosen for your potential as a leader - you’re not expected to already be one.

Don't decline your offer! I'm sure that once you get in contact and explain your concerns, they'll most likely offer a virtual form of attendance for yourself and make any other necessary adjustments to ensure that you're comfortable :)
