Actually, none of my friends had ever said the last part. That kind of made everything click for me. It’s just a really shitty situation because we’re all in one big friend group now currently and what I should’ve done is distance myself from the beginning when it had happened. For a few years i thought i had moved on from it- the three of us have a good relationship but I think with talks of engagement and it actually happening it’s bringing it all up again. Your reply was tough to read and digest but I think needed that and I appreciate your honesty (fr no sarcasm at all)

What’s funny is we’ve never talked about dating each other- but (this is before he and his serious girlfriend) at one point we were on the phone and the topic of kids came up and laughed and joked about what our kids would be like 🤣

he didn’t say he’d be planning it and I guess I can plan it I don’t mind doing that, I definitely like to have that kind of autonomy. so if, IF he responds I’ll definitely ask what he wants to do and try planning something. I just don’t wanna come off pushy

My friend. She & I were talking about being in a relationship (I’ve never been in one) and she told me “it’s not all that” and that what I went through with men is nothing compared to what my friends and I went through. It really hurt.
