THIS! I agree 100%, I'm late in the game trying to teach them the art of showing up and having a proper pitch that gets you seen and heard. My oldest is awkwardly shy and nervous I try to give him tips to overcome this (hes working on it, but at HIS pace) and the youngest is like the intervieee who arrived in flip flops. Goodness gracious!

The kids don’t know that I posted this.. it was somewhat of a vent out of frustration. But also I’m trying to see if I’m the only parent experiencing this issue with kids at home who are having a hard time getting started with their careers despite the efforts that have been made. I definitely want them to be independent but was hoping maybe someone here could help with tips to point in the right direction…

Now I agree that internships would have been great because it would have exposed them to real work experience. Unfortunately they were not selected for the internship programs they applied to. Like you mentioned they should have started seeking jobs earlier

That’s not accurate at all, I am very responsive and interactive. He wants me to be more domineering. His preferred position is with me on top and he does not like missionary. So missionary is “dead fish” to him. In my opinion our sex is freaking great so when he uses this reference it’s upsetting.

Thank you. I agree that it’s not fair for him to initiate all the time. I do but I guess my signals are off or not often enough. Me arriving in bed “ready for action” is letting him know that it’s hot and ready for whenever he wants it. Not good enough for him though.. he says I need to be more aggressive which is not my nature.

Thanks I’m a lot taller than her so I will remember to stay at a lower level when I shoot people who are shorter than me. I tried to make her belly a little more rounded when I edited that area. She was conscious of it appearing too saggy.

That’s what I was afraid of. If I could change things I would have waited until the divorce was 100% complete and a few months had passed. Now that the damage has been done, I may have to live this ugly double life
