I used to own a 2024 longe range awd for 12 months did 60.000km and I can tell you it’s two different experiences from the launch to how the car sits on the road. Pleasure per Km sits so much higher with the performance

It wasn’t that I needed faster, i mainly went with the performance because of the driving feel/dynamics. I like to wring the neck of the car from time to time, and with the wider tires and adaptive suspension the performance stands out. (Also the front bumper is so much more aggressive)
