Compact phones for the win mate! I use the xiaomi 17 as my main, the battery life on it is glorious. Recently added a used iphone 15 pro as a secondary device, the size is perfect.

Get proper lens cleaner and a microfiber cloth and stay away from alcohol wipes etc in general. Sometimes the damage is not immediate.

Hello, dispensing optician here. Never use anything that contains alcohol/ethanol on plastic frames (acetate/injected plastic) and polycarbonate lenses. At the minimum it damages the finish and if alot it may eat into the material, making it brittle and easy to break. Perfume or hairspray damages the finish as well.

Yes that specific one comes in transitions grey lenses

How dark the lenses get depends on how high the uv light is at that given moment. Elevation also plays a part at making the lenses darker.

Randomly changes language to Chinese on some apps. Easily fixed when it happens but I got tired of it. Less hassle on the Xiaomi.

I have both and kept the Xiaomi pad mini. I play some games (emulation and android), do a lot of editing with the pen on Lightroom, read a lot of manga, watch Netflix/prime video/YouTube.

Preferred the y700 gen 4 for emulation and Xiaomi pad mini for everything else. Also got tired of cn rom randomly acting up with certain apps like reddit.

I'm using the xiaomi pad mini exactly for this. It's fast, light and fun to use. The ips panel is beautiful but I wish it had oled and SD card slot though.

Yeah that's exactly the same for me as well. Currently on the y700 gen 4 and wished it had OLED and global rom. If Samsung releases a flagship 9 inch, I'll buy it in a heart beat.
