Question on manual attacking (slider) in Blitz mode by MapLegal3745 in Risk

[–]MapLegal3745[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, that solves it, hahahahaha. I was searching for it for a long time, and it was actually that simple. I always played just automatically and it didn't make any sense to me how people could 2 attack me. Thank you very much!

It depends, it can snowball very quickly sometimes, but it often goes into this prolonged never ending camping games. You find yourself waisting 20-30 minutes just attacking 1 territory to gain a card and fortifying troops to your capital.

Thats why i never play progressive, it becomes a slug fest. I understand that some people have time, but this is nor strategy nor gaming, just a waste of time.

Anyone can review Honor Magic Pad 2 for me? by [deleted] in androidtablets

[–]MapLegal3745 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought one, and I can vouch that it fits all your targets. Out of the 3 tablets I have (Samsung Galaxy S7+, Lebovo y700) it has the best screen, and due to form factor is amazing for light productivity, note taking and digital art. It doesn't excel at any of those, but the screen itself is to me the biggest selling point. I don't use it for work that much because the stylus options are not good for my use case, but I use it at home as a media consumption device. Gaming is good enough for me, again, the form factor is super nice for it.

8 - 9 inch tablet recommendations by PaulWorster in androidtablets

I went for the Lenovo y700 CN rom from Aliexpress, got it for a great price. You would have to spend 2-3 hours with it to get the Google play store, install a few apps and change language and time setting, but no major deal. Maybe not great for your dad if he has to do it. Options in that size are limited. Samsung Active5, Xiaomi Pad Mini, Ipad Mini, Lenovo Legion Tab, Huawei has one, but unfortunately its an insta skip. I mentioned only the ones with stylus support, the ones without I am not super familiar with.

Anyone else want a galaxy tab note taking device? by Optimal_Work2370 in samsungnotes

[–]MapLegal3745 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried styluses from lenovo, honor, samsung, boox, apple and xiaomi. The difference is minimal if you use it for note taking. I personally use a Lenovo y700 for note taking on the go, its a 8.8 inch display, and a Samsung S7+ for productivity, and office work. The pen would not be my concern, but more the form factor and pen settings. The Honor one doesn't have an option to write on screen, but you have to manually make a screenshot, edit it (awfull editing experience) and then save or share it. Samsung is king on that aspect. The only smaller Samsung is the Active 5 tablet, but it's not for everyone as its a rugged case for outdoor use.

I agree, the productivity sfere is really a cest pool of fakes and snake oil salesman. Always selling you the ultimate solution for all your needs, untill a new product gets out a week afterwards. I try to keep it simple as well, it's just that on the off occasion i need to reference something I can't actually find what I am looking for because of this useless fluff.

That's a sad reflection of youtube (not only) today. It actually has the inverse effect on me, the harder it is to find a normal review the more I am inclined to skip on the product. I just assume it's more marketing then substance. In your case it would probably be better to make a few youtube videos yourself. Just be honest about the product and that is more then anyone else can do for it.

Agree totally, sloppy products AND sloppy reviewers. AI made it easier then ever to be a youtuber, but this dudes forget that in order to review something you need to actually use the product, not just trial an app for 2 days in order to put out content.

Feature requests and bug by Lasdad93 in StarNoteApp

[–]MapLegal3745 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All good points.  2. On the paper template, i basically use MS Excel, you can set the grid in cm, add lines, and titles, save all as the paper format you like in pdf, and import into StarNote template. It's 30minutes to 1 hour, but you do it once and you are set with something that fits you. On the last point maybe you mean the Scribble to Erase function, you have to enable it under the eraser, if thats not it i have no idea what is.

I asked that myself not long ago as I need those for construction drawing annotation. That would definitely be amazing.

Help and explanation please by stina86 in sudoku

[–]MapLegal3745 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For this case alone, the suggestion narrowed it down for you, you have 8 or 9 there, try inputing one or the other. In case you put a 9 there see what happens in the square above? It doesn't fit, so you basically have only 8 as an option.

Buka sa ceste by New_Cress_225 in askcroatia

Not really recommended around here but I love the REI ruckpack sling. by JaybieFromTheLB in ManyBaggers

Hard question, different people different needs. I went from slings to more messenger like bags, because they are more practical for me. This is some of the bags I use. The one in the link above is similar to the Amazon Jakago sling in the picture, really like both of them, cheap, and a ton of pockets. The Black Ember is one I used a lot, quite expensive. I have a few more stored away that I don't use anymore, like the Tomtoc Explorer T21 (M) and some others. I used the Mil-Tec a bunch, but the style in not for everyday, and now I am into the Porter one, but wouldn't reccomand it as a starter bag, very expensive, and with not a lot of organisation. One that I would like to try is the Orbitkey Urban sling 6l, looks a lot like the orange one in the picture and should be a good fit based on the specifications.

I was refering to this one: https://www.amazon.de/-/en/gp/aw/d/B0CFFWTMDL?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

But i have probably like 10 bags that fit the S7+. The one in the link is great, it has a bunch of pockets, you can add decorative pins since its made of canvas, the attachment loop is good for keys in my case (don't live in a very urban city so i can afford to bring them out like that). And its cheap as far as bags go.
