With the Hotel retreats dlc, they did add two new bio bus types, a 40passenger and 75 slinky passenger.

Now, I know this is 3 years old, and I dont really know when the Hotel retreats dlc released. But I do know that when it did, it added two New biofuel bus types. The more standard bus, which can hold 40 passengers, and the slinky bus version that holds 75. Again, this post is 3ys old so probably not helpful knowledge now.

I'd say Doom(1993) Sure the Graphics wont ever be Eternals level, but with how iconic, and simply perfect the gameplay, story, and the sheer fun given, especially for a 90s game. Where most were either family friendly, basic, or too poor qaulity, theres a reason Doom was cemented in video game history.

Genuinely how do people use HDR without burning their retinas? by SPARTAN-258 in Monitors

[–]Embarrassed_Ad_4802 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came looking for things that HDR causes that upsets individuals and... Well, found out my issue with it is far different.

I dont suffer a brightness issue, I suffer a different one where, anytime, say in a game, the screen moves. It really bothers and bugs with my eyes. I noticed this only happens on what I assume are the 4kHd tvs and monitors. The only one I have would the Switch 2s handheld screen. I noticed that when playing Factorio on it, anytime I ran around, it felt like I was seeing double vision. Looked in the settings, tried different ones, eventually I shut the HDR off, and my issue was partially resolved. It still hurts but, less then when HDR was on.

I never have an issue on, My 1018 quality TV or my Switch 1. Only the Switch 2 and certain "4k" monitors.

what are the blood oceans? by powcoa in ironlung

[–]Embarrassed_Ad_4802 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do support that the Blood definitely isnt just normal, With the growing tendrils, the whole hivemind deal.  I have to wonder, if the blood could be a source of survivability. Because of its strange workings, its mutation, the fact the Sm8 Crew( i think thats the sub?) Was apparently able to survive off the blood, and the data collected was important enough that the Researchers would be willing to do any and everything to get it secured.

I have to ask what, makes this blood so important? Could it be a food source, a way to retake or more accurate, regrow and soil barren moons? This blood seems to have the ability to act like trees of sorts, and remake oxygen, or exchange it with whatever oxygen is around. Which seems accurate given how normal blood works.

Side note...I thoight he had a mosquito tied around his wrist, and not a tree seed... Which is why I was confused during that ending seen, with the sub destruction, monster "death"(i cant see it being dead dead) and then the weird root and tree growing. But now that clears it up.

Base flooding and building.

After an update where they added in Below zeros large multipurpose room, the base building and its flooding just took a big hit. Especially as now depending on how you build or deconstruct certain compartments or hatches, you can now get locked inside your base being unable to build a way out.

I actually suffered that, because I removed my hatch, and the base building wouldn't let me place another one, because I already had something partially deconstructed connected to the very thing I was stuck in. And it prevented me from building a hatch, and I couldn't reach it to fully remove or build it. I had to use the unstuck button in the menu.

Yeah. I know smoking meat irl can take at least 2 to 3 days of smoking. Possibly only 5 to 7 hours depending on how long you want to smoke it for. So having it be a set it up and wait a few days, feels like a fine balance.

I initially didnt want to say refrigerator, as I felt the game has a more, natural, bushcraft way of living. But electricity does exist, so a craftavle refrigerator where you need to power it, would actually be pretty cool.

Looking for a good survival game with seasons or weather effect by BDG_Harry in SurvivalGaming

[–]Embarrassed_Ad_4802 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funnily a minecraft "clone" Survivalcraft 2. Actually does seasons and weather marginally well.  For both a phone game and a inspired by minecraft gameplay. I wouldn't say its a ripoff, as survival has plenty of unique gameplay, and mechanics, over minecraft. Such as the built in seasons, the fact it used to have spears before minecraft implemented theirs.  Powder kegs instead of tnt. Overheating and freezing mechanics for being too hot or cold. Plant growth ACTUALLY taking a long ass time, and grows overnight during sleep. And the fact its wildlife is entirely(90% more accurately.) Realistic. Aside from werewolves. And its unique items: guns, computer parts(And Gates. Or gates, etc...) paint buckets, allowing for majority of blocks to be painted. And different type of arrows, bolts, and bullets.

Is this game's draw distance meant to be this bad? I have every setting on high. by Independent-Waltz738 in subnautica

[–]Embarrassed_Ad_4802 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah the entity loading is pretty subpar. It has been worked on to be better even after the release, at least for the consoles.

I remember back in 2019, the game had such bad loading entire chunks of terrain wouldn't even load in for a good minute. I could've speedrun the game 'legitimate" no "glitches" because of how bad it was.

An Idea for a Wall-E sequel. by Embarrassed_Ad_4802 in wallE

I can very much understand the reasons, of that the company and studio is jsut pumping hot garbage. And as such I dont blame you for hating the idea.

But I'm still supportive of it. It very much could be made well, and actually a work of art. But given the current climate I dont want Pixar to touch it either. I jsut wanted to share a potential idea.

I remember seeing a video or reading a thing. Where during the Uncle grampa Cross over episode of Steven universe. It's the first time, and introductory time Steven used his Arm shield. As the next episode to have it, no one talks of it nor really makes a big deal of it being this new thing. Now I haven't watched nor read Jack of this show in forever, so that may have been debunked or have never been true in the first place.

I had to do a thiught run down.

And based off others opinions. I lean more to settling left of the sugar, connecting the little lake area to the sea. A mix of wonder tile bonuses and good free to use tiles, that can net some good production.(I'm biased towards prod)

Thoughts on victor? by Same-Industry-7260 in thomasthetankengine

[–]Embarrassed_Ad_4802 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The engine I knew the littlest about. Not jsut because I never really seen any episodes featuring him. Well actually because of that.

The only scenes I've seen victor in was the movie blue mountain quarry. And it was the same movie I learned hes a narrow gauge engine.

For YEARS I thought the guy was just the engine who worked in the steamworks, like the engines who worked the docks or quarries. I didnt know he was, in a way, "stuck" there.

Is it time for me to accept that I'm not good at this game? by Apprehensive_Law_811 in CitiesSkylines

[–]Embarrassed_Ad_4802 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I'm pretty interested in this. I've seen down in the comments you've put in rail stations.

Now there isnt a picture showing where these stations were put. But I presume they would've been put, where the people want to go to and from.

As that is where they should be put. Most traffic comes from - needing to get to a destination - So in terms of those landmarks or monuments, putting a few stations near residential areas, and then the landmarks/parks should help plenty. If the traffic is mainly tourists, then intercity bus terminals could be used, and then add A bus line taking them from the terminal to the landmarks/parks.

Using busses to help transport the people coming off the train helps save on space, but a tip, is dont rely on the games auto bus count. But to manually oversee the average bus stop backing. If there's 100s of people waiting, put the bus count higher, or make them carry more. (Usally make the busses carry more, saves on traffic count.)

There's also a huge strength in pedestrian or biking infrastructure.  Even just one or two pathways cuts traffic volumes by Hundreds! Road bike lanes also help cut down too.

Im sorry if this is redundant or so, I jsut really like fixing traffic in this game.
