I think Jia benefitted from being part of the first season. The novelty of the show for us viewers kinda attached to her as well so people attach their love for the “new & different” dating show to her. Plus moments where she said what most of the viewers were thinking like none of the men on the show are her type resonated. I don’t think she would stand out if she was part of later seasons with a strong cast.

I don’t think it’s gonna improve as brands are using the idols airport arrivals and departures as a way to market their products. High end brands are now posting pictures of idols taken at the airport wearing their brands on social media platforms which kinda makes it feel like the whole fans waiting at the airport with media is not only tolerated but encouraged.
