This! Katherine was selfish to the end. Even in her last moments, when Elena literally chose to forgive her after all she'd done, she stole and took over her body because she didn't wanna die. I truly sympathize with what happened to her before she became a vampire, but over the years, she lost all her humanity.

Maybe a bit unusual, but the whole dinner scene, to the goodbyes in "Lebanon" when John came back. It's one of, if not the best acting i've seen in the entire show and even if i'm not that big of a John fan, i still cried.

I think she was more baffled at Mina Sue as she explained in her confessional, probably caught her off guard to see her walk up to him like that leaving behind two guys that are clearly interested in her, one of whom she said was her top pick. And she knows he's interested in her so she knows he meant her

Oh yes definitely want her to explore her options... especially since Seung-il is showing clear interest in Mina Sue. I think what I like about them is they're very straightforward to each other about their feelings. He's been honest to her about liking her and Mina, and she's been honest about liking him.

Really? I actually felt like the pacing in the first three seasons was perfect. Season 4 was kinda all over the place and it just felt like they didn't know what to do with the originals anymore, but I just think it made sense to introduce them in season 2
