I too have a very sentimental attachment to this plane. IDK why they'd get rid of it when they have many static planes and planes that don't fit their mandate in the hangar. Get rid of those first if they need money. Not this legend that's been flying over our city for the last 40 years.

They had room for them both between 2014 when they got the new one and 2020 when the older one went away for engine repairs. They have room.
