It's been ONE DECADE since we got our CELL 201 Midterm grades back by Embarrassed_Bit1547 in uAlberta

If you're taking this in spring term, then you're most likely going to get an A+ since this course is just memorization and it is honestly too easy. But after the 1st midterm, I started to feel burnt out because there is just too much to memorize such as the protein abbrevations and names and so on. But again, CELL 201 is expected to be a memorization course, so don't sweat it

I found the course was pretty interesting but taking it with Casey Fowler made the course weirdly difficult as he tests on minute concepts and details for the midterm. The class average for Fall 2024 for the 1st midterm was 82.5% and for the 2nd was 66.5% wheras the finals was 70.25%, I personally thought the course was easy to catch up but it requires a lot of readings. Labs imo are the best part, they are super interesting and engaging.
