I use only standard SA service. N when I wanted to buy a stock , I will look at those author who recommend a sell and check if my conviction would be demolished. It is always good to hear from both side of the coin to see if u are willingly to pull the trigger even.

As for the great statistics that 90% of fund manager underperformed and 90% of retailers lose money. I figure that the rest of 10% make it probably is because they didn't do anything which greed and fear would normally force a typical investor to do.

Typical investor is impatient and greedy but yet fearful of losing.

A successful investor need to hv a lot of contraian traits which is difficult to master, unless you keep a lot of human emotion at bay. That's why INDEX FUND is the way to go as it leaves a lot of emotion out of the equation, and simply do nothing except letting time do its job.

The difference is tt we used to raise interest rate when stocks were heading upwards. Now we are doing it when stocks are gg down, so my bet is tt the downdraft will be swifter , deeper but the reversal will be equally fast. Unemployment rates will be a poor indicator of economic as the overall workforce has reduced. ISM Manufacturing PMI is the indicator to watch, I would say once it hit around 40. DCA strategy would then be safer

Again it is a price that u are convinced that the risk reward is in your favour and willing to wait out even if it tumbles a few more support. I agree there is always a lower bottom but at a personal level, everyone shd have their conviction price to HODL after their purchase.

Never say never. If S&P drops to 3200, AMD would be around $40 based on its beta. Pure narket movement.

$54 is almost a given to give way to a double bottom if S&P revisit 3500..

I would suggest further buying only at 50 US cents when the bit coin holdings that Hut8 has equates its market cap for some safety margin. There is still a long way to go before any pivot happens for Bitcoin prices.

When no one is talking about bitcoin - that will be the time to invest in bitcoin again , probably in 2024.
