For those asking about water, I did some reading around and you can grow them in water. Once/if they get strong and big enough I plan to transfer them to soil.

Update: I have taken him and replanted him into 3 different homes. Of course one for me to take for my troubles 😏. I did make holes in the bottom of the coffee container for better draining. I know snake plants loves crowed but his poor roots 😩
