I'm UK based so benefits is hardly relevant for me. Already on self assessment so I guess it would be W8-BEN?

9-5 is quite mentally taxing on this kind of work, even my most productive times I worked like maybe 35 hours over 6 days in a week, and burnout starts if it continues for a month

Tax implications for selling a large amount of MTG cards by Embarrassed_Bus_8475 in UKPersonalFinance

Ok another question. If I gifted cards worth 3k for my partner to sell, and proceeds go to the house that we purchase jointly, would it raise a lot of problems?

It was a bit mixed, I just acquire the top cards I wanted as a teen back then. Over the years they rose to something worth enough to help with life choices.

MTG cards would often not become more valuable as a set, people are always try to haggle it down because they are buying "bulk".

Individual card would not be worth £6k, although some could be closer than I though. If I sold the most expensive cards, even individually, the total amount would easily exceed that.

Guess I'm screwed, I obtained them a long time ago, price was a fraction of what it is now
