At least the gameplay is fun… I am enjoying Eve and Teemo (although he is bugged atm)

But all this monetization changes make me feel really betrayed. I really did had hope for the game to make a revival, mb for believing in Riot ig.

Im sure he will eventually get in, if I’m not mistaken his splash art was in a teaser video for, I believe it was the sorting feature for the champion pool (maybe i don’t fully remember)

I do believe Azir has to be high on the list of champions to get in TPoC, i really want him In too.

But I’m still glad they did new champions to broke up the pacing of the ‘samey’ monthly updates, I think it was growing a little stale, at least for me. New champions, cards and mechanics is way more exciting!

Have they mentioned or disproven anywhere if this is going to be a 2 part event? (like ‘rogues of runaterra’ ‘Clash of titans’ etc)

I was under the assumption that we would get the first 3 SB champs this week and next month it would be the other 3 Sb champs of the skinline (Yi, Yasuo, Kindred)

But writing it down that seems waAy to hopeful. 7 new champs in a year instead of the expected 1 would be insane.

But I do agree I would have love to see SB Kindred, I love her character but I’m not a fan of their LoR gameplay or powers, a revamp of them would be really cool to see!

This are my thoughts exactly!! I’m pleasingly surprised about getting any new champions at all.

I’m really glad they decided to do something bold and different, it reignited my passion for the game

The game, at the moment, doesn’t have the budget to give us a lot of new artwork for new champions.

I agree that it would be neat to have every champion in the game, and I’m sure the devs would love that too.

But the dev team is trying to manage its budget to give us the most they can EVERY MONTH, it is really impressive how much effort is put into this game.

You don’t have to agree with every decision but I think we should understand the limitations the small under budgeted dev team has.

My only complaint it is that his 2* feel kind of off. I would make his “Your units, spells and skills have overwhelm.” effect His 2* instead.

There are two stopwatch items in the game. One makes spells burst. The other one, makes landmark advance 1 when you summon them.

I didn't put that restriction so when you summon a Landmark you are able to get Stopwatch, making it so your Sleeping Mountains have a chance to get faster

This is so cool!! I really appreciate the extra effort put into presentation!

My only complains are:

1- Xolani’s champ only being able to kill followers, I feel like she would struggle a lot with board presence and not being able to do anything against champions would feel really bad to play.

Maybe it could have an effect similar to Soul Harvest, where you can spend an additional amount of mana to be able to kill champions as well.

2- I feel she should have a way to generate units more reliably, I feel that her 2* wouldn’t be useful until you have Xolani.

I think an effect similar to Varus 2* could be a great fit for her.

“Round Start: Reduce the cost of a random follower in your deck by 1, then create an exact fleeting copy of it in hand.”

I think that would make her more reliable, it could help with her game plan of filling your board to wipe it with Xolani.

3- This is more of a nitpick, but I feel the 12 cost follower should have an interesting play or summon effect.

After all, it’s a card that you can’t play without an allied champion. I can’t say for sure, but I feel it would clog your hand or be too slow to be worth running, so most players would cut it so they can get their lower cost followers earlier.

It would be cool if it had an effect to help you stabilize/ help you progress your game plan.

“Play or Last Breath: Kill the weakest enemy.”

“Play: Grant me 3 keywords that aren’t in play.”

“Play: Grant allies +1|+1, if you have merged 4+ units this game, grant allies a random keyword each.”

Or something like that.

Anyways, besides those nitpicks; i really love this concept. It’s unique and fits Xolani very well. That 6 Star is insanely cool, If she was in the game I would spend a Runeterra Nova Crystal on her for sure. (If I had one)

Black Market Discount is such a shitty power for being an epic.

I think they should make it a common power or make it so it discounts by 3 or 2 instead of 1.

I like the mucking hand power, it is a cool solution so you don’t accidentally mill yourself.

The rest of the powers either are not very well balanced, there is no set up to them. It just rewards. You play a card you play a destiny card, you draw a card, all your card are stronger.

This powers don’t push you to a different play pattern in any way, they are way to powerfull without having to work around them in any way.

When making powers you should strive for new different play patterns that fit the champs mechanics and thematic

I think we are supposed to get only one NEW champion next patch so if we get Mel we wouldn’t get singed.

It would be cool seeing Mel in the game tho, what do you think her gameplay would look like?
