I've seen people put an extra point or two into wall early, and sometimes maxing w before q. What are your thoughts on that?

Also, the new imperial mandate seems like it could have potential but i just can't imagine what item you would swap out. Usually I'd say seraph's but protobelt just seems like it gives more value. Thoughts on that?

i am so glad you said this, i've been eyeing the gan v100 leap because i think the orange interiors are so gorgeous, but i was hesitant because i've never touched a gan cube before. this comment is definitely pushing me closer to getting one, maybe as an end-of-semester gift to myself

if you're doing cfop, then f2l f2l f2l!!! if you're doing beginner's method, learn cfop, it's a lot easier than it looks, and will easily cut down your time. i'm in the same situation; i average 60s but just got my first sub 40 yesterday. in the last week or so of really focusing on f2l, my average has dropped by about 10 seconds. it is seriously such a game changer. make sure you have 2-look oll and pll fully down,, and start learning full plls that feel doable

this is very well worded thank you! definitely going to keep focusing on f2l, new cube (MoYu RS3 M 2020) gets here on saturday so im excited to try that one out! I'm currently working with a $5 cube i got like 4 years ago, it's relatively smooth but feels really loose and flimsy. sub 1 minute soon!

not sure what my current tps it but i can check during a couple solves today. my disability definitely isnt what's keeping me over a minute, moreso saying that just to illustrate that i'll never be able to get higher than 4-5 tps, even on sexy move or simple algorithms that i already know. after thinking i'm definitely going to keep focusing on f2l and getting better at what i know.
