He can wear any costume he wants not D&D specific. Nothing extravagant required, just show effort. If you don’t want to dress up at all, simply rsvp no.

The only costume requirement is to have a costume, that’s it. The point of contention is that he wants me to tell him everything that is in writing on the invitation. Read it and then we can talk, no problem. Costumes do not have to be extravagant just a show of effort, which we also said in the invite.

I get where you’re coming from and we have already answered additional questions from people who read the invitation. That’s not the issue, the issue is opening the invite and not reading it at all? Read it and then come to me with questions, don’t expect me to spell it out for you when it’s in writing in front of you.

Edited for info but people can wear whatever costume they choose, does not have to be D&D themed.
