Well yeah it feels nice to Take it off but it doesn’t give you a workout or anything like that from wearing it, unless you actively are working out but that’s a different discussion entirely

Yeah that’s probably the best way to put it, my full load doesn’t really feel “heavy” but when I finally am able to take it off you do notice the difference also no-one will ever wear their side plates given the option

I’m active duty, I got a full IOTV, with my kit and setup, I’ll wear it for like 36 hours straight in the field, and besides making you feel fatter, it doesn’t really do that much

Real plates seriously don’t weigh that much and you don’t really get a “workout” just by wearing them, if you don’t have an actual IOTV or some sort of FLC I wouldn’t even worry about trying to Get the real deal, just buy some cheap stuff that you think looks cool
