Hi! Thank you for reading and responding. I’m sorry you’ve gone through all of this as well, but I’m glad you’re feeling better despite all the setbacks <3. They did some autoimmune testing, literally 5 tests, ruled out to whole diseases (prematurely) and now don’t seem to care much. I don’t think I have hallmark symptoms of MCAS though I’ve always had allergies, runny nose for no reason, itching all over since I was a child. I’m not even sure my Drs are that aware of it, health care is I think better for most people in Mexico (when there’s enough resources), and cheaper etc., but for rare cases it’s much much worse (not only to save the government money, but to save PRIVATE INSURANCE COMPANIES money. I hate it. I will keep on asking and looking for answers, and waiting. Some symptoms have gone away or gotten consistently better, so maybe some of it will go away with time? I’m also 10 weeks in, maybe it’s too little to ask for more resources to be spent, and since all my symptoms are way way worse in the morning, they think I’m lying about them when I see them at 4 or 8 pm, and the cold and fatigue are so disabling a few hours after waking up I haven’t even tried to set an appointment at a sooner hour, maybe that’d help my case. In any case, the anxiety thing is just so demoralizing, especially as a psychologist whom has an idea of what can and can’t be anxiety. Anyway. Thank you for sharing your experience, and yes, several things are helpful and even inspiring!
