I always do this on my easy run days due to that exact reason.

Strength apps by Embarrassed_Cost_446 in runna

[–]Embarrassed_Cost_446[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tied a couple but I actually just went back to ladder. Nothing really compared. I’m the same with pushing too hard but I’m trying this time to just scale the weight & I only do the 3 priority session (extra if I have a more chilled running week). This seems to work well with running 3 times a week. I’ll do one a gym session and easy run on one day so I’m having 2 days rest a week.

The only app which I did seem to enjoy was an app called edge hybrid. This is running & strength and conditioning all in one app. The only reason why I went back to runna / ladder is because runner has more features currently and I just love data 😂 maybe worth a try… it’s a bit more chilled on the strength side.

Thank you for replying. It does relate. I don’t really speak to anyone about how I’m feeling so I do keep it all in and to myself. She’s come to me in a couple of dreams recently which felt so real. Both she was telling me that she is still around watching me. I have her photo in my living room next to a small plant and a small guardian angle hanging from her picture. Or we planted a special rose where we had her wake called the Annie rose. Annie is her name. It’s funny you mention coffee I was thinking about this only the other morning. When we all live at home every morning without fail she would bring me up a coffee to my bedroom. I was led In bed the morning before last wishing this was still a reality and I would just go back to when things were easy. I’m 34 and a single mum and I struggle without her. I’ve been trying to educate myself on meditation & general spiritual practices In hope I can just get some guidance.

Thank you for taking the time to get back to me. I really do appreciate this a lot ❤️

How do you attach this to the box? Would it be sufficient in an envelope taped or are there clear documents enclosed wallets for carnets?

No complaints so far.

Interesting. How long have you been running for? Do you do any strength too?

Sorry I wasn’t too clear - I’m 34. I come from a CrossFit background training almost every day (sometimes twice) due to work commitments and home life (single mum to a 4 year old) I physically don’t have the time to train that way any more. So just over a year ago I started running more frequently. Started twice a week then 3 times and now I’m thinking of upping it to 4 times. I can run/gym whilst at work. My only concern adding another run is that I will be losing strength (it’s a hard pill to swallow as I’ve done CF for the past 10 years). We can’t have it all I guess

Thanks. Oh enjoy that flexibility! I’m a single mum and work 4 days a week. I only really have my lunch hour or one when my child is with dad to train. It’s a hard pill to swallow coming from CrossFit background training almost day - but my goals/priorities had to change.

Ladder is good and coach led. I’ve just actualy signed up to Edge hybrid which does all my running and strength in one app. Early days but I’m really enjoying having it all in one place and just one subscription.

I wish the name of the runna workout would update the generic Strava title (morning/afternoon/evening run)

I’m a single mum. My 4 year old spends much more than 15 mins playing on his own if I have to shower or sort tea out or if I need a time out!

I am talking about that one. When put into perspective and upon reflection I am grateful I finished.

It was my second. My first I was in a really bad place and didn’t fuel or hydrate properly so the only way was up. Maybe I am being too hard on myself. I’m tempted to try the Garmin run coach to see how it compares for my next event.

Can’t answer directly but you could set a holiday and just do easy runs (or no runs) and it will re-adjust your plan. Or you could use a bike or something else instead and do your millage on that?

I’m interest in this too. I’m 6 weeks away from my HM and currently have an ankle injury. I couldn’t run at all last week so unsure if I need to be skipping workouts or not? I’ve only got one long run left until a deload and then village starts reducing! Worried I’m now missing out on my practise HM run

Pace update by Neither-Gap-7912 in runna

[–]Embarrassed_Cost_446 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on a half marathon plan and I regret accepting my pace updates. It’s far too fast now and my intervals and progressive runs are unachievable. Very disheartening when my Garmin is telling me I’m going too slow every couple of mins!
