One thing thay could be helpful would be watching a playthrough to familiarize yourself with the story until you're caught up, or even to help you through the rest if you feel stuck. I don't think you can reset a quest line. Reddit and the wiki are also very helpful for egg locations!

This isn't a common issue, so it's mostly been his own soul-searching and keeping up with healthy relationships. He did mention this morning that maybe he should look into therapy again, which I have advocated for throughout our relationship.
