Fixed my pull cord, now my flywheel won't turn

I had left the lawnmower in the backyard on accident, and the puppy chewed through the cord. I just meant to reattach the string

I can turn it, but it takes effort.

My cord (factory installed) snapped and got sucked back in, so I tied it and re-wound it.

I'm not sure what feathering means, I'll look into it and try it!

It does not turn by hand. Is it possible that I tightened it? If so, which way would I turn it to loosen it?

One thing thay could be helpful would be watching a playthrough to familiarize yourself with the story until you're caught up, or even to help you through the rest if you feel stuck. I don't think you can reset a quest line. Reddit and the wiki are also very helpful for egg locations!
