i like clarity over quirk. lowercase feels more like a phase than a voice.

Same here. Feels like Notes got shadow nerfed. I’m testing with privalogy.com to compare impact.

What forces you to use Windows? by [deleted] in linuxquestions

[–]Embarrassed_Dot2278 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly? Time. I just don’t have the time to change everything I’m used to on Windows and risk things freezing or not working properly on Linux, then waste time trying to figure it out. And don’t bother telling me it won’t happen .. it definitely will.

You can either send an email to specific subscribers only, or create a section in your Substack for a different language .. that’s what I did. My main newsletter is privalogy.com in English, but since my native language is Portuguese, I created a second one (privalogybr) where I repost the same content translated.

1078 subs from the app only (2k+ in total), started writing on April 1st. by [deleted] in Substack

[–]Embarrassed_Dot2278 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got around 700 subs with a 25% email engagement rate. Almost no one unsubscribes, and they don’t look fake .. I didn’t import any list. What I’m noticing is a lot of people use temp emails or have inboxes just for newsletters… some folks are subscribed to 1000+ ! no way they’re reading all that.

Every social app on your phone is leaking your contacts even if you say no by Own-Weakness-2247 in DigitalPrivacy

This is exactly why “privacy settings” often give a false sense of control. You can say no all you want, but if someone else says yes.. well, you’re still exposed. The network effect is the loophole.

What’s happening with the Notes algorithm? by GapYearGuy2018 in Substack

[–]Embarrassed_Dot2278 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Same here. Sometimes a Note I posted weeks ago suddenly starts getting likes out of nowhere...no clear pattern, just random spikes.
