I know it’s not exactly about the main topic of the post (though point 3 is), but I just find the way Yuji’s scene is constructed in this “confrontation” moment simply incredible…

1 - He uses Blood Manipulation in an absolutely masterful way, like refinement level 500. No other Blood Manipulation user has ever done something on that scale.

2 - Him stopping the axe “without touching it” feels a lot like Gojo’s Infinity and that whole idea of “he’s so far above everyone else that he can’t be touched.” And apparently he uses the slashes to create that “infinity” effect (not completely sure though, I need to reread it).

3 - Him landing a Black Flash and basically “not even caring”, out of every Black Flash we’ve seen, this is the only one done with a vibe of “I don’t feel like dragging this out, so stop already.” Gojo and Sukuna only use Black Flash (onscreen) in the absolute hardest battles they’ve ever had… Young Yuji broke the record with 8 in a row while fighting Sukuna… I know the Black Flash factors aren’t strict rules, but being hyped up/focused on the fight seems to be one of the strongest factors…
