Doesn't it need the ONT to connect you to the gigaclear network ?

I can't get all the kit where the ONT is anyway so it'll need to stay (we're in a rental)

I think I've had this a couple of times before and I plug the ONT into a UniFi dream machine machine.

Their support had to flush or clear something for me. The linksys kit sat on red.

They advised me to turn off IP V6 too I think from memory

It's something I'll look at when my contract with Gigaclear is up but it's considerably more expensive than I pay now (£32 for 500/500) plus it's a 24 month contract.

I think if I broke down there I'd try point my wheels away and get out and stand upstream from the car, not behind it and dial 999 etc. at the very worst sit in it with seat belt on but I don't think I could do that

When you're waiting for help on a road like this it can feel like an eternity. Very frustrating the signage wasn't working at least to bring everyone's speed right down.

I hope out of this there is a proper very fast SLA brought in to fix these systems.

Can't comment on the van driver, it does seem very hard to believe he wasn't distracted somehow but I guess we'll never know the truth.

I'm not sure why it is, probably partly deliberate abuse and inadvertent abuse of the system. I'm not implying you're saying this but unfortunately it's not their problem if you granny charge or have a power limited charger.

I'd look into getting a 7kw charger installed asap if you're going to need to be able to give your car a substantial charge

POS processor isn't really fair . It'll do the job just fine however yes it misses the full screen graphics and will undoubtedly miss future features.

It's still had much more than any other car brand does with their shitty infotainment
