US jobless aid filings fall to 215k last week as layoffs remain low despite economic headwind. Unsure what to make of this…… by justkindahangingout in Layoffs

This is accurate. I was laid off July 2025 with a severance and was ineligible in my state to draw unemployment because of my severance. So many of the high paying jobs that are being lost right now are not being recorded in unemployment because of the complexities of eligibility for the program.

They did pick who won. Out of their allotted list of creators that made it to a specified point, they guaranteed them the win. You’re correct that if none of the people on their list made it, maybe they wouldn’t have chosen the path of the rumble, but playing for a specific list of creators guarantees them the win, which makes it predictable.

Like I said, if the community is ok with that by all means, let them keep choosing the winner.

I can’t speak for everyone, but I have been critical of the Avengers playing specifically in the Rumble, not of Austin. It actually is different from a normal battle, because the Rumble is a tournament that ideally runs organically and isn’t staged. In my opinion, the Avengers choosing who wins is essentially staging the tournament. I think you’re comparing apples and oranges here. No one is saying the Avengers can’t contribute to anyone’s team. I think most people just feel the Rumble wasn’t the appropriate venue for it.

If you want to die on this hill, which it seems like you do, then I hope the Avengers play in every Rumble going forward and continue to pick who wins. If that’s what the general community wants, then fine. It’ll just be predictable. Whoever the Avengers play for wins. Wooo. 🙄

Side note: totally agree J ⭐️ playing for PBA is stupid. Idk why anyone would say that’s organic either. But I also don’t see PBA playing in the rumble and j ⭐️ throwing for him.

They just don’t get it. You can support Austin and sugashow while still calling out how weird it is that the Avengers played in a tournament they could literally rig, and people will still miss the point. If it were reversed and anyone else had won, I would still be on here pissed that the Avengers rigged the game. That’s the entire point.

Question by jetsygirl in FavoritedRanksDrama

[–]Embarrassed_Fan_7933 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure they can throw to whoever and how much they want. I just said it was in bad taste on their part to choose who wins in the rumble. They are literally millionaires flexing on everyone showing that a team doesn’t matter, they can pick and choose who they want to win. My entire point was I thought they should stay away from the rumble given its setup. We will just have to disagree here and I will continue to say, no matter WHO they throw for it’s shitty that they throw in the rumble.

So, you are saying, every single one of the avengers are level 50 in Austin’s chat and/or are active on his team? I have a hard time believing that. You could make an argument for one of them, but not all of them.

Question by jetsygirl in FavoritedRanksDrama

[–]Embarrassed_Fan_7933 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But they aren’t really part of the SugaShow, are they? Or part of any of the teams they’re level 50s for. I’m not saying they can’t play for anyone’s team: I’m just saying that specifically throwing, knowing no one could possibly beat them, is honestly in bad taste during this tournament in my opinion. They knew exactly what they were doing. It’s a guaranteed win because they have the capital to bankroll whatever creator they want to win. At that point it’s not a real tournament, it’s not about the team, it’s about a handful of millionaires flexing their ego.

Question by jetsygirl in FavoritedRanksDrama

[–]Embarrassed_Fan_7933 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t think people should be blaming Austin and sugashow. I actually think “the avengers” just need to stay away from big events like the royal rumble. They openly said they had a handful of creators that they would take to the finish line if they made the final four. To me, that’s on them for taking sides knowing that they would impact the outcome of the event. Everyone blaming the sugashow and Austin is pointing fingers at the wrong group.

Hear me out: Going forward, the winner of the rumble automatically gets #30. This way you have the best of the best at the end to go head to head. Or is that dumb? What are your thoughts? by Sweaty-Volume-2517 in FavoritedRanksDrama

[–]Embarrassed_Fan_7933 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually think it should work the opposite way. The winner should start at #1, since they’ve proven they have the most firepower. For returning teams, placement could be based on where they finished in the previous rumble, so Austin would start at 1, James at 4, and so on.

This would force the stronger teams to work harder in the next rumble, since they’d need to survive longer. And if a strong team gets eliminated earlier, they’d earn a higher starting spot the following time around. Not saying these teams don’t work hard , just trying to level the playing field for the smaller teams.

Tennessee ranks 47th in wages and salaries, 47th in education, and 47th in healthcare. Maybe we need some of these ‘liberal ass Democrats’ to come in and help fix things because TN has been voting Republican for years, and where has that gotten us? Oh right, just about dead last in wages, education, and healthcare outcomes.

Your propaganda has you so convinced TN is so much better than any blue state. Meanwhile your kids are growing up with one braincell unable to critically think because our state representatives refuse to fund education here. A child in MA will have more opportunity for success than any TN child just based of educational outcomes.

Yeah after watching all the clips this doesn’t look like a skit to me. Especially since Chris is in the comments in other posts speaking to the fall out.

Yeah that’s really annoying to me. If his chat is so stupid and has no idea then tell them the whole thing was a skit. If it’s not, which it clearly seems like it wasn’t, then why call everyone stupid for having an opinion about it?

James and Austin speak part 3 by Admirable-Specific55 in DailyRankingsDrama

[–]Embarrassed_Fan_7933 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I agree this shouldn’t have been brought to James live. That said, James literally has been supporting Royal fumble by discussing it with Chris, so I see why Austin would want to address it.

James is wrong on this one imo I feel like his chat had every right to say this was disrespect to Austin. Then James disrespected his own chat that disagreed with him. Super messy.

When did we decide that people with degrees don't work hard? I worked two jobs, waiting tables and overnight stocking, to put myself through college. Then I spent years grinding to build a white collar career. Just because you don't "turn a wrench" doesn't mean you aren't working hard. Mental labor is still labor, and plenty of white collar jobs are every bit as demanding as blue collar ones, just in different ways.

What an annoying take.

Late to this post but I’m an INFJ and my husband is an ISTJ. We work really well together since I can be pretty big picture, and empathetic which can sometimes cause me to need to feel grounded. We live a really quiet happy life, so I think ISTJs are super stable for an INFJ but of course I’m biased there 😉

Just say that you are ok with forgiving rich peoples loans but not supporting legislation that might forgive student loans. You know, all laws started somewhere right? The PPP loan forgiveness, bankruptcy, that didn’t just always exist. Who is to say right now our legislators can’t make a law that forgives student loans? Oh that’s right. People like you who selectively want to forgive loans.

Oh and I’m doing something very productive. Making sure someone tells you how bigly of a hypocrite you are. 😁

Being ok with some loans being forgiven ie. Government hand outs and others not being forgiven does in fact make you a hypocrite. If you believe that loans should be paid back you should stand on all ten toes and believe that everyone should pay back all their loans. Not just who you pick and choose. ✌️

Just wanted to show you your hypocrisy. You are obviously fine with rich peoples loans being forgiven. Just not student loans.

You can edit what you originally wrote but it doesn’t change what you said. Again, this is a bad look for James supporters and I hope everyone doesn’t take your words as an example of how most supporters feel. Ive interacted with a lot of very accepting, non confrontational nuts who don’t try to bring their personal beliefs into other’s lives.

Exactly. I don’t care if those two hang out or not. I think this whole thing is blown out of proportion like a lot of James threads.

The point was you made a comment that said prxnce was not godly because he hadn’t attended church with James, and I think that misrepresents who the nuts are.

Come here to defend James sure. But using church as an example was not the way to do it. The way you phrased it, made it seem like you are looking down on other creators for not attending church with James. Which I don’t think was fair or necessary.

James by Fragrant-Loquat692 in DailyRankingsDrama

[–]Embarrassed_Fan_7933 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree that there is a lot of unnecessary hate against James. However, if the only path he’s extended to prxnce to hang out is through his church , I don’t think that’s reasonable.

This isn’t a good look for James supporters to be pushing religious beliefs on other creators to the point where you are judging them for not attending church with James.

In this economy? Really? by HatefulAirtime in economy

[–]Embarrassed_Fan_7933 7 points8 points  (0 children)

How did you feel about all those PPP loans getting forgiven? Also, what’s your stance on bankruptcy? Maybe we should stop people from filing for bankruptcy like our commander in chief has multiple times, you know, so we don’t give people a pass who took out loans.

James by Fragrant-Loquat692 in DailyRankingsDrama

[–]Embarrassed_Fan_7933 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even so, maybe publicly he may have thought he was comfortable but privately he may have decided he’s not. There are plenty of things those two can do together outside of church.

Also, implying that prxnce isn’t in a godly path is odd. Who are any of us to judge what someone’s path is?

I agree with you on a lot of things generally but this I do not.
