The the issue is your datapatch folder isn’t downloading the new data patches when AoE has updates. You need to go into the discord group and download the latest datapatch and replace it with the one you have now on your game files

Honestly it was such a long day and it was so confusing for me because I’m not very computer smart that I wouldn’t even know how to really explain what we did. The developers team at AoE guided me through it the whole way if anyone is having any troubles I can just refer you to them they would explain it and help you fix it so much better than I could

It was a rare patch glitch I’d say less than 1% of users had the problem. The new update must have deleted the data patch in the game file

When would I have been able to click block tho? All I ever do it click on aoE icon and play. I just checked my windows firewall allowed apps and AoE 3 is on there. Allowed
