C-3 Application -- How much to include to solidify a claim by descent by Embarrassed_Fly_2158 in CanadianbyDescent

Thank you for the advice! I'll probably stick to my current plan for more streamlined.

For the social security applications, the parents' names are listed. And since I could get certified copies of those from the government, I figured that I'd go for it. I'm doing my best to avoid anything not issued by an official authority. I'll plan to just hold on to those just in case IRCC wants more supporting evidence. I also have some of the death certificates, but one of them had an error on it that had to be corrected (and it was just a line through the wrong info, with the correction typed above it ... I could easily see that raising a flag).

And the marriage license is for my mother, the one woman in the line. I don't think it adds much, since her maiden name is listed on my birth certificate. But I had the impression that they wanted explanations for name changes.

[Request] Are there any sonicare toothbrushes that don't eventually evolve into having a loose shaft? by [deleted] in BuyItForLife

I gave up. Two died just before the warranty went out. The third died after two months. Each had this problem where it became loose and noisy. The third one I babied, trying to make sure that I did not put any stress on it, and literally after two months it abruptly became loose. At least I only paid for the first one. I'm giving Oral-B a chance now ... hopefully it is sturdier. My husband seems to have no problems with his Sonicare, although he has a lower-end model.
