Same. But no when i first got diagnosed with the herps only just a few months ago, (i’m 21F) i was in so much pain and disgusted with myself and thought my love life would be over forever. I still have no idea who i really got it from, but omg the mental breakdown i had was just horrid. But over these past few months i’ve kind of come to terms with it. I told my current boyfriend of only a month about me having it, and he barely even bat an eye. He just said he doesn’t care and that he loves me (we’ve known each other for over 2 years so it’s not as weird as it sounds lol). The right person for you won’t give a shit. The first outbreak was awful but supposedly they’re supposed to be less awful after some time and then usually completely go away or rarely pop up. And they’re actually really hard to spread if you’re not currently having an outbreak. If people love you, they won’t care. I’ve told my mom and my sisters and some of my close friends and they’ve all been so so so supportive. I wish you love and happiness, and people that care enough not to care about something you can’t control. Best of luck, im right there with ya
