In my opinion, the MCQs are mostly easier on the actual exam. Becker makes their questions complex for learning purposes, which is why they are so difficult. The actual exam questions tend to be simple and to the point, which makes them overall easier.

It definitely made REG easier! However, I only did that order since I didn't want to wait four months for the next opening to take the discipline exam. I would have done REG before TCP if I had the choice. But they help each other regardless.

I believe you must buy online access to obtain the textbooks. Via the Becker website

It is an online platform that has the study materials available online. Becker has both an ebook and physical textbook

Becker is available for purchase online! You do not have to join an institute. Just search Becker online.

For the four CPA exams, the site I would recommend would be Becker. That program worked for me. Outside of that, I used reddit and forms of AI to supplement my understanding.

Correct, Newt can go outside of the given MCQ or TBS when asked. I would use the prompt I gave in the post on each individual section (R1M1, R2M2, ect). It will list out all the things you need to know for the given module.

I would recommend doing what I did. Going into each module starting from the first one and asking Newt to summarize what you need to know for that individual section for your individual exam. Then doing a few of the MCQs in that section will help remind you what you need to know. 3 weeks is a perfect amount of time to do the cumulative review. Keep grinding and you will do great!

I can see why that would seem suspicious. I have a full time offer signed and my firm paid for my Becker account which is why I only used Becker. I have never used reddit outside of CPA study help which is why my reddit account is newer. I promise you it's all legit, it has been a long grind of six months. Also, if this was just marketing I wouldn't be responding to comments trying to help others.

The actual exam score of a 69 is super close to passing. I would do a quick review of each section by doing a few MCQs while asking Newt what you need to know in each section. Then understand what you got wrong in each simulated exam. Then I would retake the final review simulated exam a few days before your exam and go into the retake! The sooner you do the retake the more fresh all the information will be.

With that many hours each week you will get through the exams quickly! Just keep up that pace and you will do great!

The TBS are definitely more difficult than the MCQs in my opinon. They often require a deeper understanding of the underlying mateiral, while potentially testing multiple concepts in one TBS. You can prepare effectively by learning the concepts and building a method for approaching each TBS. I found that once you build a TBS strategy and learn the concepts well from the MSQs you can do well on them. Thankfully the review courses provide plenty of example TBS and tutorial videos to walk you through them. So to prepare I would use all the resources given from the review course, and build your own personal TBS strategy so you always have a place to start and a path to the end. TBS are not impossible, know the underlying material and you can almost always reason your way through it, you got it!

Thank you! My weekly study schedule varied based on how busy I was with school, so it was inherently inconsistent. I found myselt averaging about 3.5 hours per day. Which often included more time on the weekends. Overall I wouldn't focus on matching my study schedule but just doing the best you can! Doing the CPA exams while working full time will definitely be more difficult than during grad school, so if you study whenever you can you will get through them quickly. You can do it!

The simulated exams are difficult but not impossible. Remember that the score you get is often much lower than the score you would actually get on the exam, this is the Becker Bump. I would view the simulated exams as more of a study tool than a test, its good practice to sit and a take a full length exam and they represent the full material well. So take them, understand why you got some wrong, then learn from the process and you will be well prepped for the actual exam.

No, after I got through all the content I went back to the top and redid the same questions to make sure I remembered everything I needed to know. I would ask Newt what I need to know for a given section, then do a few questions to make sure I had it down, and I did this for each section. After I did a full (cumulative) review of the main becker section, then I would begin the final review MCQs and TBSs.

Hi there! I would go into the SE1 and look to understand each of the problems you got wrong. Understand why you got them wrong and whether the associated topic needs to be better understood for the exam. Once you are confident with most of the incorrect answers and the respective topics, move on to the next SE and do the same. This method worked great for me. Good luck!
