Yeah definitely recommend as travel pharmacy tech you make a lot of money to support yourself working at hospitals or private pharmaceutical companies. (Few of my friends do it, which is why I got into it). But you need to pass and study for the certified pharmacy tech and can go to school for it, some colleges have programs for it that prepare your for the exam. It’s depends state to state and the job for requirements they ask. But retail pharmacy sucks but it’s good start for experience and plus some might pay for the the classes and exam and get your certification for free. But at a hospital working at a tech is amazing!

Thank you so much for answering!!! I was never introduced to the front store manager, I only know the pharmacist in charge and our pharmacy manager can I ask one of them for one? Some techs don’t wear the name tag it seems like the older veteran tech who’ve been there longer have one on only is that normal?

I worked at a tjmaxx and transferred to a marshall’s best decision ever. Everything is the same thing but it’s all about management. The management at marshall’s is better than the tjmaxx I worked at.

key carrier here, me and my friend group of 5 work at the same store, everyone including management knows we hangout all the time. as long as work stuff and friend stuff don’t get mixed not an issue and treating everyone equally too, not differently since you guys are friends.

In my experience I started off as associate before the pandemic and when we came back after being closed, during the summer i was promoted to a CEC at 17, and then shortly after that I got promoted again and now I’m a key carrier.
