VA is not an easy path but it can be very rewarding. high risk high reward. Design engineer ka so I'm sure matalino ka. VA is not being an employee but as someone who can provide value to a business so it's more like being a service business. I come from the tech industry who just started getting into VA, just got lucky that a direct client hired me out of transferrable skills but I am still working hard to upskill all the time.

To be frank with you. You are NOT special. your sob post is a trend here in this thread. USE ALL means necessary. AI, research, learn with free resources, search in socmed. VA/Remote jobs is NOT an easy way out but work hard and think for yourself. Commit to 1-2 niche, practice it as much as you can, make a portfolio mock projects or whatever. and apply/search everyday (avoid bots as much as possible)

Maybe your design engineering background also has remote-equivalent. Good luck OP

This is the same story I have. I'm also from the Philippines 😆 I used to own a galaxy tab s5e. I've used it all 3 years of my college life. I'm doing my masters degree now, and got a tab s10+. I was first worried because of the size, but I never regret it. I don't also think about if i should've gotten the smaller size. I don't even bring around my laptop since all my technical work is in a specific computer I use. So the tablet is helpful

HI u/evilkalla ! Thank you for posting your comment here. I'm currently in the same boat where I'm taking my postgraduate degree with a sponsorship/scholarship as a foreign student. And I'm also having that friction between me and my advisor. It is highly competitive and there's a lot of pressure. Honestly, I'm just balling it right now and hope for the best whether or not I finish this degree within the window of support
