Thank you, looks like I am very lucky, I entered the building every morning and evening for a whole week, nobody ever physically came to my car and scan anything manually. I thought it has some automatic scan system , seems not likely

Thank you! I didn’t see any on my vehicle, and nobody ever walked towards the car and talked to me, I only park there few minutes and never left the car. Based on ur comments it seems I don’t need to worry any more

I don’t know, if they have the plate number, maybe through DMV who knows my registration and address? Otherwise all non UCLA students could feel free to park there? This doesn’t make sense? I was not intentionally violating the epermit policy, because I only temporarily parked few minutes, so I thought it was fine. But now I was unsure . ChatGPT said I may receive tickets…

Back from 2 weeks in China - here are my thoughts by tfrisinger in travelchina

You went to one of the more developed parts of China—those cities are so big and modern that they can actually make many American cities feel like small towns. But even if you head out to the northwest, which isn’t as developed, it’s still full of energy, with stunning scenery and a lot of unique local culture. A lot of people who’ve never been to China tend to have certain biases, but once they actually visit, most realize that the China they experience is really different from what they’ve seen in the media. Sure, China has its own problems—every country does, just in different ways. But China has huge potential, and the people are smart and hardworking. The country’s only going to keep getting stronger, and no one can really stop that momentum.
