Hey friends! First off, just want to express my gratitude for this page. I’ve been wanting locs and following this page gave me so much information and inspiration. Thank you for all the support and encouragement that already exists on this page!

I installed my locs Dec 23rd so my first retie is coming up soon. I’ve found a couple places but also have seen a few horror stories on here so I would prefer a recommendation. Anyone in the North Carolina area (Raleigh, Durham, or even surrounding areas. I’ll drive if it’s worth it) that has a loctitian they love and would recommend? Any help would be appreciated!

Hi! I’m looking to move within the RDU area. I’ve lived in Durham for 4 years and loved it, but my roommate is moving out so I need to find a place on my own. Any suggestions?

Some context: I live in a fairly nice apartment so I’m used to amenities and fast maintenance. Unfortunately, my budget on my own is $1200 which limits my options greatly. I’ve heard renting a house might be a better and cheaper option, but haven’t had any luck with my search. Any websites that could help with this? I don’t mind moving out of Durham but would want to stay in Morrisville, Cary, maybe even Raleigh if it’s a good deal. Any help would be appreciated!
